How to get Access

The book registration on Operative Techniques is a two step process:

User registration

  • If you have not already registered on Operative Techniques, use the Register button at http://www.operativetechniques.com.
  • On the registration page, fill in all the required details and complete the registration by clicking the Submit button.
  • This will bring up the screen with the link to access the book. Click the link and follow the steps in the 'Book registration section' below


Book registration

  • The Book registration screen will prompt you to enter the book PIN.
  • Enter the PIN that is supplied with your book.
  • Once the book is registered, you will be taken to the book home page.
  • You can access the book content by clicking on the book image.


IP Authenticated Subscription

  • To subscribe Operative Techniques as an IP authenticated user, please select the User Type as 'Institutional - IP' while registering to the site. After successful registration use the 'Register Book' option to register your book PIN & start accessing your book. Though you get logged into the site while browsing from within the IP range given, you will not be able to access the book unless you register your book PIN.

  • Once you successfully register your book PIN you will get direct access to your book/books while browsing from within the given IP range. But for using any of the personalized features like bookmark, notes etc, you will have to sign up for a sub-user account. Use the Create sub-account option provided with the sub-user login screen to register for a sub-account. If you haven't registered for a sub-account the system will alert you to create one while you try to access any of the personalized features as mentioned above.
